Glashütte Original Seventies Chronograph Fab Green

Glashütte Original Seventies Chronograph Fab Green

The Glashütte Original Seventies Chronograph Fab Green is a new version of the brand’s period-themed chronograph with large date display. However, in this instance, it comes presented with a new retro-style dial executed in viridescent tones. The watch combines the notable skills of the company’s dial facility in Pforzheim with the brand’s Manufactory in Glashütte.

While wristwatches must be functional, they must also have a prepossessing visage. Most watch brands are mindful of this, expending much effort in designing aesthetically pleasing dials. Colours, depths, textures and occasionally métier d’art differentiate the exceptional from the mundane. While legibility is an important consideration, the face of a watch must evoke a sense of passion.

Dials made in Pforzheim

Glashütte Original, the high-end German watch brand, clearly understands the importance of a dial endowed with a pulchritudinous face. Unlike the majority of watch brands, the luxury marque has its own dedicated dial facility in Pforzheim.

Glashütte Original Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date

In recent years, the firm has produced 70s-inspired timepieces featuring eye-catching retro-themed dials. Now, it has released a new version of the popular Glashütte Original Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date sporting a Fab Green dial. The luminescent hands and indexes beautifully contrast with the viridescent tones of the dial. The twin counters are recessed and feature snailing, adding depth and texture to the horological vista. Lastly, the degradé dial is mid-green at its centre, transitioning to dark green near the periphery of the display.

Calibre 37-02

Lastly, behind the bewitching smile of the Glashütte Original Seventies Chronograph Fab Green there is much mechanical intellect. Indeed, the Calibre 37-02, an automatic movement, is beautifully crafted in the company’s Manufactory in Glashütte.

The unique shape lends the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date its contemporary touch that makes this chronograph stand apart from other vintage pieces. Substance and style

Makes no mistake: this ‘70s-inspired stunner has just as much substance as style. With the Glashütte Original manufactory Calibre 37-02, made in-house to the highest quality standards, the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date is as precise and reliable as you would expect from one of our watches. Next to 70 hours of power reserve and 10 bar water resistance the timepiece offers a view of the exquisitely finished movement through a sapphire crystal case back. The Calibre 37-02 with column-wheel switch has succeeded in combining the most important chronograph functions in a watch of a pleasing size: chronograph with stop-second, flyback, 30-minute display and numeric 12-hour display, Panorama Date and power reserve indication. These features make this watch a great choice for even the busiest lifestyles. From the daily grind to memorable moments.

Fabulous in each perspective

With its unique degradé effect, the shimmering ‘Fab Green’ dial is cool and eye-catching. Black indices and hands with Super-LumiNova® make their mark for the very first time within the Seventies line and are combined with the brand’s signature Panorama Date. Authentic vintage design with all the modern manufactory magic Glashütte Original is known for, the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date with ‘Fab Green’ dial ensures time is on your side. Whether standing back to admire the view, standing still for a moment or standing by for the next adventure –stand out in style with the new Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date.

It’s another piece in our collection that shows we’re Proud to be the Original. #PTBTO
