Over the years, I’ve received numerous messages via social media, often asking the same question, ‘What’s the best watch?’. It may sound a simple enquiry to answer, but alas nothing could be further from the truth.
To begin with, there is the tricky question about budget; sadly, a cruel price tag can thwart many a dream. What is the motivation for buying a watch? What is the lifestyle of the wearer? What is the physical build of the would-be owner? Do they require certain complications?…
And once this endless list of questions has been answered, there is still the matter of availability. Some watches are readily obtainable, whereas other watches are virtually impossible to procure.
My Favourite Watches
On these pages, I have listed some of my favourite watches, categorised using the terms often employed in the queries we receive. Occasionally, new models are released that turn my head and elicit words of undying love. For this reason, I intend to periodically revisit this page.
