Famous for their Riviera and Hampton collections, Baume & Mercier was founded in 1830 by two brothers – Louis-Victor and Célestin Baume – who opened their first dealership in Les Bois, a village in the Swiss Jura.
The business grew rapidly, soon gaining a notable reputation for being a watch manufacturer for timepieces of only the highest quality.
