Grand Seiko Masterpiece

The Grand Seiko Masterpiece Collection is composed of, low-volume, highly specified timepieces. Crafted in two locations, the Micro Artist Studio in Shiojiri (Spring Drive movements) and Atelier Ginza, in the heart of Tokjo (mechanical movements). The Grand Seiko Masterpiece Collection competes with the finest expressions of Swiss Haute Horlogerie and, in some instances, incorporates expert gem-setting. In 2022, the firm released the ‘Kodo Constant-force Tourbillon, a revolutionary watch that combined a tourbillon and a constant-force mechanism as one unit on a single axis for the first time in horological history’. The watch went on to win the chronometry prize at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG 2022).
