Laurent Ferrier is a multi-talented individual. After training as a watchmaker, he worked for Patek Philippe for 37 years, ultimately assuming the role of Technical Director. However, Laurent was also a talented race driver, competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans on seven occasions and securing a victory in the two-litre prototype category in 1977. Two years later, along with his team mate François Servanin, he came third in the overall ranking.
In 2010, he founded his eponymous company with François Servanin. It was not long before he tasted success again, on this occasion winning the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève for his exceptional timepiece, the Classic Tourbillon Double Hairspring.
Today, Laurent’s son, Christian Ferrier, continues to steer the company to new heights. The Maison’s winning blend of masterful design, mechanical excellence and ultra-refined finishing has led to the brand’s products being coveted by legions of watch aficionados.
